An inverted rendering of the Magnet 1 function which I originally picked up from Paul Bourke's website. As an extra twist I forgot to fully reset my rendering configuration and ended up utilizing a dirty hack I used to "straighten the diagonal" z₁=c line of the bifurcation diagram as seen in the series of images between Bifurcate n°1 and Bifurcate n°8.

The function is inspired by the study of magnetic renormalisation transformations modeled as hierarchical lattices. To the surprise of the researchers – and for our viewing pleasure – the magnetic phase boundaries they discovered were much more complicated than anticipated.
