Artemis II
Relatives
It didn't start out that way, but around halfway I realized I was making something that was clearly a commemorative fractal for the Artemis II moon mission which was about to splash down to the Pacific Ocean in a couple of hours.
A not-quite-an-integer exponent is great for producing very intricate branching patterns in the spires of the resulting Buddhabrot, here clearly reminiscent (in my mind) of the violent exhaust flames of the two solid rocket boosters strapped to the side of the SLS on its way toward the heavens.
